Agitated Hate Entry

05.04.2008 · Posted in Ramblings

“Anger is only a natural reaction; one of the mind’s ways of reacting to things that it percieves to be wrong. While anger can sometimes lead people to do shocking things, it can also be an instinct to show people that something isn’t right.”

On most occasion, I’m not the pugnacious type. (I don’t know if I am being subjective, but that’s how I perceive myself.) I’m the kind of guys who prefers to be silent, though I hate labelling myself as both timid and shy. I am such but whenever I am provoked, I would retaliate, out of instinct.

Last Friday (May 2), a heated argument sparked between a stupid co-worker and myself. I would simply describe it as a simple case of personality clash (with a stupid co-worker) which abruptly turned into a series of furious verbal attacks. I was totally atrocious that day. I don’t care if I looked weird and unprofessional as I yelled on that stupid co-worker. At that instance, I am in the belief that I don’t have to tolerate any form insult from anyone. I am in the belief that I shouldn’t give a damn about what my nosy colleagues would think about me. They don’t feed me anyway! I don’t know if I were just completely stressed of work or if I were just too emotional then. Either way, it doesn’t really matter now.

I grew up in an environment where physical attacks are common ways of stressing out your point. I am aware that I shouldn’t adapt such barbaric approach. But sometimes emotions unexpectedly surge and they are hard to control.

I know that having a fight with an officemate is such an awful way to end my week, but I guess it’s doubly awful not to react and to suppress an emotion gone wild. Also, I don’t know if this is such a great entry for a blog.

I am flabbergasted!
I am aghast!
I am mad!
I have to vent out.
Don’t blame me…
