Last June 14, I toook the time and trouble to go at Shangri-La to watch Qui M’ Aime Suive. It was one of the score of flicks shown as part of the 13th French Film Festival. Although there was an unexpected twist on the plot, it wasn’t spectacular at all. It was free anyway so ther’s really nothing to complain about.

Films are therapeutic. It soothes your sentiments as it makes you weep and laugh…

Last June 29, just right after my review class, I went straight ahead to a movie house to catch Serbis. This one is monotonous and it really made me wonder how it became part of the Cannes Film Festival. Perhaps, I’m just a plain film-idiot to comprehend it.

Films are poems, told in a dazzling form. It inspires you to create. It motivates you to explore…

Last July 5, I’ve seen the screening of Kambyo at UP Film Center. This is a lovely film, enriched with wacky lines. While the sexy scenes are intimate and artistic. It is a simple, yet a provocative film. It was able to drive home its message.
