Board Exam Anxiety

I took a couple of days away from updating this blog, a couple of months away from reading Sheldon’s novels, still, a couple of months away from watching movies. I devoted my weekends in a review center since June. And all of these are sacrifices as I prepared for the Board Examination for Teachers, which happened yesterday. And I think I messed up! I hope my instincts are wrong. No, it wasn’t about test anxiety. I didn’t blank out. It was just so stupid that I can’t put it here.
I know it sounds goofy, but I still get a little anxious about the entire testing process. I’ve been reading, reviewing, and doing practice questions for the past few months. I thought that I have a grip on the material. I thought I was ready. People told me, and I believe, that getting adequate rest on the night before the exam is the key. However, as always happens, I didn’t sleep very well the night before the exam.
Hopefully, all these anxieties will end by December, when the results have been released. I hope I would see my name on list. I really hope!
I usually get that “Oh god I did terrible” thing after a test…but it’s all crap! Lol, I’m sure you did fine on your exam.
I hope I’m just being paranoid…
I think you were just having a bit of paranoia Den, don’t worry. You seem very smart and capable and I’m sure you’ll find there was nothing to be afraid of once the results come out.
@Luli: I can’t really help not to let paranoia and delusion consume me.
Good luck to the result of your exams. Believe in your self.
@John Ryan Recabar: I hope it will turn out good!
I’m the same way – and I absolutely CAN NOT sleep the night before a big exam!
But I have a feeling you did very well! You are very intelligent! Here’s to seeing your name on that list! Cheers!
Good luck!
Happy blogoversary!
@Fitch: Thanks! I hope that I will see my name on that list.
@Teena: Thanks! Hope this blog will have more blogoversaries to celebrate. LOL
It seems that somebody is using your name to write not so nice comments on blogs. I got one earlier, and am pretty sure it wasn’t wrote by you.
i am too anxious about the test i will take 1 and a half years from now. its the nursing board exam. i really hope i could pass the test.
gOod Luck about your test and always think positive
@ Lou-Lou: Yeah I know that someone is impersonating me. Let him/her do that, she/he will get nothing from doing it. Thanks!
@midpointblank. I suggest you go to a review center. It really helps a lot if you attend review clsses. And on the day of the exam, always keep in mind about those “simple reminders” from the proctor, which I failed to do.
