Frenzy Farmville
You, or one of your friends on Facebook is likely to be hooked with Farmvile (or Farmtown.), right? This game is hugely popular as I could hear nearly everyone at work babble about it; but I am not playing it. In Filipino slang, I am definitely a “KJ”. But even if I am not playing it, I can’t avoid it, simply because my Facebook wall is peppered daily with those odd announcements ranging from having a new farm tool up to adopting a lost cow.
My friends say that the game is truly addictive, because the more time you spend on it, the more exciting things you can earn like houses, tools, animals, plants, and other seasonal decorations. All of these stuff can be used to spruce up your farm. The interaction part on Farmville makes it even more exciting. Players can communicate with each other while working on their farm. But the catch is, if you brushed off working on your farm for just a few days, all the hard work will just get wasted. Bwahaha! 
Hmm… I’m not really sure yet if that’s makes it good game. But I am sure that, Twitter, Facebook, and my website are already eating up too much of my time. I don’t play Farmville, because I am a KJ and I don’t need another Internet addiction. And with Ondoy and Santi, ravaging our nation. Don’t you think that it’s better to plant real trees instead of wallowing on a virtual farm? That is something much worthy of cultivation.
