Stop Making Babies!
If the Philippines is NOT overpopulated…
1. Every passenger on MRT and LRT would have a seat.
2. Baclaran and Divisoria would be more convenient places to shop.
3. There would be less air and noise pollution.
4. There would be fewer snatchers, hold-uppers, and beggars.
5. There would be a lower unemployment rate.
6. Forests and farms would no longer be converted to subdivisions.
7. Our literacy rate would increase.
8. There would be a decrease in the depletion of the ozone layer.
9. There would be fewer people living in unhygienic conditions.
10. There would be less traffic.
This country is damn overpopulated already! And what makes this worse is that no one seems to consider this to be a serious problem. Overpopulation causes pollution, poverty, starvation, crimes, and what-have-you’s. Government has to conduct some program and tell the people the effects of overpopulation. Mother Nature does not need more babies so people should stop breeding!
So, do Philippines a favor: Stop making babies!

Do they have any population laws like China? Sounds pretty crazy there and looks a little crowed
We don’t control population here in the Philippines. We are not imposing one-child policy like China do, because Filipinos spend their leisure time making more and more babies. We are crowded and we just keep on making babies until we reach a state of disharmony that would lead to widespread poverty and starvation.
hey! don’t blame overpopulation and don’t blame the babies for the worsening condition in the cities, especially in metro manila. such scenario is due to lack of discipline, corruption, and lack of political will to improve our system. filipino couples have the right to have their own family and it is only them who can tell themselves how many babies they want. babies are the future of this country!
Exactly (@mariexuxi). If the government implement their laws as well as they make them, then Philippines won’t be as it is now. This is the truth about the Philippines: Only the rich gets richer, and the poor becomes poorer. And the sad thing is, those who are supposed to be “leaders”, are only in position because of the money. BUT, that’s not the only reason. Philippines, no matter how “Catholic” it claims to be, has nothing Christian about it- aside of course from the tradition. If you ask every other person, he/she would approve of premarital sex, use of contraceptives and abortion. A whole lot of our actors/actresses have been married more than once and are even “living-in” with partners who are not their spouses. Oh wait. I forgot to mention the promiscuity of the young and adults alike. Ever heard of adultery and how it multiplies children by tens? If this trend goes on, half, if not more than, of the population will be “anak sa labas”. Look at a certain “RS” who has a wife, a kid AND a girlfriend. So it’s not really RH Bill that’s the answer. RH BILL PROMOTES AND MULTIPLIES PROMISCUITY AND ADULTERY. Population is NEVER the problem. THE PROBLEM IS IMMORALITY.
