Classes Suspended due to Basyang

Classes were suspended at the elementary and secondary levels due to typhoon Basyang. Meanwhile, CHED Executive Director Julito Vitriolo said this Wednesday morning that the heads of universities and colleges in areas affected by the typhoon should exercise their own discretion and decide soon whether to suspend classes at the college level, even as a number of schools have decided to suspend their classes at all levels for Wednesday.
A dzBB radio report has rolled out a list of colleges and universities who suspended their classes for Wednesday (July 14, 2010) at the collegiate level:
- Polytechnic University of the Philippines
- University of the Philippines Diliman
- Centro Escolar University
- La Consolacion College
- College of the Holy Spirit
- Assumption College
- University of Santo Tomas
